The Adopt A Rooms were designed afer many hours of meetings and collaboration with health care professionals, doctors, architects, contractors, parents and most importantly, the patients themselves !

The Design Charette

We all came together for the purpose of designing a room that exceeded anything that has ever been done before in the world. Experts from one of the largest architectural firms (Perkins + Will) sent their best resources to host a design Charrette. What is a design Charette ?? it's the process to capture the vision, values, and ideas of the health care community - with designers sketching these on to the Charette to create ideas about the future as fast as they can be generated by the participants. The children, parents doctors and health care professionals spent hours exploring the possibilities of the ultimate hospital room for children and their families.
