The First New Rooms
The images below illustrate the actual rooms that were opened on November 13, 2006 for the children at the University of Minnesota Childrens Hospital - Fairview, designed by Perkins + Will. The suites will be built by Kraus Anderson. These rooms served as the beta showrooms to be used by children and their families while collecting valuable feedback to be used to design and build the new university of Minnesota Childrens Hospital where there would be 97 Adopt A Rooms
Nursing station directly outside the room where parents can meet with nurses and Doctors. Charts can be accessed and even the room can be controlled - lights, temperature, TV's and more.

Multiple LCD Panels on the wall for entertainment and also for doctors to see the medical schedules and test results etc.
